In these days of retreat, "deceleration" and the "re-connection" to the true, original, creative and quiet "self" are the focus. In the healthy environment of Mother Nature we come to rest again, by walking meditations and other practices. Simple, as well as dynamic body exercises (including Hatha Yoga), silent meditation, "transpersonal breathing", intuitive movements (un-winding) or trance dance can be some of the supporting tools on this journey. The sweatlodge ritual, the heritage of our Celtic ancestors, offers us the possibility of physical and spiritual purification. We sit together in the dark belly of the Earth-Mother, hot lava stones glow in our midst, provide warmth and healing. Prayers and songs like Mantras or Spirit songs from different traditions take us on the transformative journey through the 5 elements, back to ourselves.
